After adding new employees, please allow up to 5 minutes for the system to update before they can punch in. If they are still unable to punch in after this period, ensure that your TimeStation device is connected to the internet.

This issue usually occurs when the device is offline. Please ensure that your device is connected to the Internet. Then, open the Time Card Mobile App and wait a few seconds for the "Offline" icon to disappear.

Once the "Offline" icon is no longer visible in the Time Card Mobile App, your data should become accessible on the Time Card site.

The employee may have previously set up a separate Time Card account with their email address. They should log in to their existing account, navigate to "My Profile" in the top right corner of the page, and change their email address to an alternative one, such as "inactive_user@domain.com". This action will free up their email for use with your company account.

Alternatively, you can leave the email address field blank for this employee, as it is only necessary if you want the employee to access the Time Card website or mobile app using their own email and password.

The exclamation mark next to the employee activity indicates there was a problem detecting the employee's location during their check-in/out. This issue often arises when location services are disabled on the device or when Wi-Fi is turned off.
Please ensure the user enables location services on their device by following these steps:

  1. Open the settings application on the iPhone.
  2. Navigate to "Location Services" (found under "Privacy" for iOS 6.0 and higher).
  3. Ensure that location services are turned ON.
  4. Confirm that Time Card is also set to ON under location services.

Additionally, it's advisable to keep Wi-Fi enabled, even if not connected to a network. When Wi-Fi is off, the device relies solely on GPS signals, which may take longer to acquire and can be unreliable indoors.

This message indicates that your login credentials are not authorized for access to the Time Card site.
To gain access, please contact your company administrator and request that they enable the "Login to the Time Card Site" permission for your employee profile.
